Boutique luxury Italian fashion identity
Mimosa Accessories is a boutique supplier of Italian leather and knitwear accessories. Crafted by artisans, using some of the finest luxury yarns in the world, the items are unique and of the highest quality, yet also sustainable. The branding reflects this level of quality, luxury and accountability.
Brand Identity
The brand is named after the yellow mimosa flower, which is a symbol for La Festa Della Donna (International Women’s Day in Italy) and is an expression of female solidarity. On 8th March every year, this is traditionally celebrated with luxurious gifts for women. The abstracted graphic of the flower, set in a zingy yellow, with the elegant and aptly-titled font of Rome for the logotype, convey the values perfectly.
Photography
A series of studio products shots were created in June 2016, for use on the website and in the press. Care was taken to ensure the range of photos showed in detail, the extremely fine yarn and the exceptional quality finish of these luxury products.
Brand Elements
A monotone line-work illustration of the full plant and leaves, works as a supporting graphic for packaging and marketing literature. A set of simple guidelines with supporting graphics, fonts and colours, have helped this exciting business launch.
